Russia sends humanitarian aid to Kazakhstan
AKIPRESS.COM - The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations sent plane with humanitarian aid to Kazakhstan on July 8, the Kazakh Foreign Ministry's press service reports.
“Russia’s humanitarian aid includes medical masks, personal protective gear, medications. SK-Pharmacia is the operator of humanitarian aid in Kazakhstan. Several shipments with aid from Russia will be organized in future,” statement says.
Kazakhstan expressed gratitude to Russia for aid to fight against COVID-19 pandemic.
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced intention to send humanitarian aid such as medical drugs and testing systems to Kazakhstan during phone talks with Prime Minister Askar Mamin on June 30.
Mishustin signed the order to send humanitarian aid of personal protective gear, drugs and medical systems to Kazakhstan on July 4.
