Erkin Mukhitdinov has been appointed as the new director of the Forestry Agency under the Ministry of Ecology.
Prior to his new appointment, he served as the head of the Department of Forestry, Biological Policy, and Ecotourism at the Ministry of Ecology.
Nurlan Yerlepesov has been appointed as the new Minister of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
He was introduced to his new position on 8 January during a meeting at the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Karakalpakstan.
Yerlepesov previously held the position of First Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Karakalpakstan for financial, economic, and poverty alleviation issues.
Before Yerlepesov’s appointment, the position of Minister of Economy and Finance was held by Rustam Sultanov.
