Abstract: For a long time,anti-Americanism in Turkey has been dynamic, and it has been positively correlated with the relationship between Turkey and the United States. The“estrangement-contact-re-estranged”of the relationship between the two sides has deepened the sense of being abandoned among the Turkish people, arousing their anti-American sentiments. Especially the long-standing domestic distrust of great powers, the conflicts over multiple interests in its alliance relations with the U.S.,and the growth of domestic Islamic forces have promoted the continuous rise of Turkish anti-Americanism. The spread of anti-Americanism has brought severe challenges to Turkey's domestic politics, economy and the future direction of Turkish-American relations.
