Abstract: “Islamic State”always regards Central Asia and South Asia as its important areas for expanding and recruiting while there is differentiation in the infiltrated effects and methods between these two areas because of the historical and practical differences. The ISIS fighters from Middle-east have already got strongholds in Pakistan and Afghanistan, and also launched a number of terrorist attacks. But its influence to the Central Asia was more limited. If ISIS’activities have posed a serious challenge to South Asia, its activities in Central Asia can be defined as security risks and the potential threats. Considering the Middle East and international anti-terrorism situations remain unclear, great powers and regional powers still adopt pragmatic counterterrorism policies. The infiltrations of “IS”in South Asia and Central Asia will continue existing, even will be exacerbated. The construction of Waziristan-Fergana Terror Corridor is not an imaginary terror. The security situation in Central Asia and its surrounding areas is likely to deteriorate.
