Abstract：Located in the eastern part of Europe，and so-called“little Russian”，Ukraine is intertwined with Russia in origin. At the same time，it was pulled in other direction by Poland Catholic culture. From the revival of orthodox in western Ukraine in the fifteenth Century，to the flourishing of armed Cossack in the sixteenth Century，and the rise of modern nationalism，Ukraine has always been in the awkward position in straitened circumstances. Be coming a part of Soviet Republic in the twentieth Century，it had experienced a relatively complete period. But good times don’t last long. In the twenty-first Century，along with the breaking out of Euromaidan and bounded by the Dnieper River，this piece of land was tear apart again. The tragedy of the split of whole nation continues.
